Window Shopping, In A Dark Windowless Room

(Unless your computer room has windows, well then good for you, Mr. Man*)

Amazon has done a few amazing things over the years, but what I stumbled across in my usual daily newsfeeds really intrigued me. It certainly makes shopping a visual and aural experience, and cuts out all the fat to leave you without any distractions. Not to mention looks gorgeous. Enjoy!

This Is Genius. Evil Genius

This is definitely one of the greatest things I've ever seen in my life. NPH continues to amaze me, not only does he make How I Met Your Mother hilarious, add needed comedy to the White Castle group of movies, he can sing as well? Wow.... Of course it does have the familiar Joss Whedon flair, with lots of comedy and a dash of drama to boot. Enjoy.

I wonder how much work goes into making these Chuck E Cheez lookalikes move. Enjoy!

Good Night Helio, And Good Luck

The last great American MVNO (mobile provider that doesn't have its own network) is about to go the way of all the others, after Earthlink cut its ties, and now last week Helio was bought out by Virgin. I have had my Helio Ocean for a year now, and it is the best phone I've ever had. It will be interesting to see what happens, but as long as I can keep my number I won't jump ship just yet, we will see if this is good enough for a contract break excuse.

Mega64: Assassin's Creed

I love how he gently pushes people like in the game, and it has the OPPOSITE affect of blending in.

"I don't like that, he's creeping me out!"

An Extraordinary Graffitimation?

MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.
I can only imagine how long this took to paint, especially having to do each cell over and over. Amazing.

Mini Movie Review: Nancy Drew

A decent take at a classic book series, you can probably still enjoy it without having read any, but I think it would certainly help, as the movie jumps right in to Nancy and her sleuthing, without any real intro. Emma Roberts did a wonderful job as Nancy, but most of her supporting cast a bit sit. A very barely PG movie to be sure, it will appeal to your kids, or possibly the kid in you.

Visuals: 75
Plot: 60
Acting: 70
Ending: 80

Bottom Line: Rent It if you have kids, Buy It if they are Nancy Drew fans

Mini Movie Review: The Seeker - The Dark Is Rising

A pretty average fantasy tale. The plot was kind of ho-hum but after a while things picked up a bit. Very predictable and a bit linear, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad. Decent CG but the gamma leaned a bit too much on the dark side, perhaps by intention but there was loss of quality at times.

Ratings (Out Of 100)
Visuals: 75
Acting: 65
Plot: 55
Ending: 70

My Final Verdict: Rent It

The Strike Is Over!

The Writer's Guild Strike is finally over, so now we can all anxiously await our favorite shows coming back to production, such as Heroes Volume 3 (Which is actually the second half of Season 2, since they stopped production after finishing the first story arc). Enjoy!

This Is The Future... Now.

Nintendo... you should just go ahead and hire this guy. He has other projects as well but this one would be pretty amazing if combined with different types of shooters or puzzle games. Enjoy.

Fun Little Browser Hack

I found this while perusing one of my daily deal sites. Go to a site with a lot of pictures, and paste this into the URL bar and hit enter. It doesn't work on every site (some don't have JS enabled), but when it does it is quite hilarious. Imagine doing this at kiosks in Best Buy and you get the idea. One great place to do it is at Google Image Search. Here's a good one to
start with
.

COPY/PASTE this:
javascript:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI=document.images; DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i-DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5; DIS.top=Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5}R++}setInterval('A()',5); void(0);

My New Steam/Forum Pic

I wanted something that fit me, powerful yet comical (har har), like a friendly dragon.

My only question is, text in or out? Let me know.
